I’ve also disabled apps for various game stores. I’m honestly not entirely sure if the second Teams app is something I loaded accidentally or if it refers to the Chat app that’s buried on the Windows 11 Taskbar either way, I’ve disabled both apps on my PC. In my list of apps, I see two mentions of Teams: one for Microsoft Teams via Microsoft 365, and one for Teams for my personal account. Since you’re already in the menu, take a moment to look through the other apps that may be loading during the boot process, perhaps behind the scenes. It’s optional, and doesn’t make that much of a difference, but it’s enabled here. ![]() ![]() Notice that Microsoft Edge is turned “on,” too: This won’t be the case for all PCs, but there’s an option within Edge to “quick launch” it, which leaves Edge open even when you’re not using the browser. Turning off apps that launch at boot is a simple process.
